How can Internet consumers program computer applications so that they collectively create more innovation than any individual or
group ever has, embodying the idea of collective intelligence?
We aim to empower consumers to use their creativity and innovative ideas to personalize their environment in
a way suited to their level of education and understanding of information technologies. Our belief is that consumers,
with ability to develop their own customised applications, could utilize the increasingly popular social networking
infrastructure to create more complex applications based on the model of collective intelligence. Consumers would contribute
in creation of such collective intelligence based applications as a side effect of their own development process and interaction
with other applications. Our vision is to design technologies that would enable consumers to participate in development of
collective intelligence based applications. In addition, we aim to make the development process of this new technologies
possible through collective intelligence programing.
